A BIRMINGHAM solicitor has appeared in court accused of taking part in a £50m mortgage fraud.Kamran Malik appeared at City of London Magistrates Court yesterday alongside Mark Knights, of Cheshire. Both men have been charged with three counts of obtaining a money transfer by deception.At the time of the alleged offences Mr Malik was a partner at A&H Solicitors in Birmingham.
