JCB has pledged help towards the disaster relief project in Chile following the country’s devastating earthquake. The Staffordshire manufacturer is donating one of its 3C backhoe loaders and a complete set of attachments, together worth $100,000, to help with the clear-up operation.The quake, which struck Concepcion - Chile’s second largest city, had a magnitude of 8.8 making it one of the most powerful in recent memory.It has so far claimed the lives of more than 700 people and damaged more than 1.5 million homes.
