DIGNITY, the UK’s only listed funeral directors, has reported a strong set of results with profits increasing 8% and a confident view of the year ahead.The Sutton Coldfield-based company recorded an underlying operating profit of £56.4m, compared with £52.1m in 2008, while underlying profit before tax rose 6% to £36.4m from £34.3m in the previous year.
