SHROPSHIRE-based Practice Plan, a provider of membership plans and support services to dental practices, has acquired two Scottish outfits.

The Oswestry company has bought Glasgow-based Isoplan, a UK dental plan provider, and Irvine dental patient finance firm Medenta in undisclosed deals.

The deals were backed by London-based UK private equity house Dunedin.

Practice Plan specialises in the helping dental practices grow their customer bases by offering marketing, business and consultancy support alongside practice branded dental membership plans.

The acquisition of Isoplan will enable Practice Plan to expand its UK footprint while the Medenta deal is aimed at strengthening its marketing offering to dental practices.

“The acquisitions of Isoplan and Medenta are representative of our wider investment strategy and our ongoing commitment to supporting the business of dentistry.”
