Transport infrastructure must be improved, say business chiefs

THE REGION must invest in its transport network if it is to recover from recession to compete on a worldwide platform, business leaders have urged.

A transport conference in Birmingham saw discussions on how investment in road and rail links could help to improve business competitiveness.
