Insurance brokerage unveils franchising arm

INSURANCE brokerage Johnston Park McAndrew is to expand its business with the creation of a new franchise business headed up by an industry veteran.

The Halesowen-based firm, which specialises in providing commercial insurance advice, has recently brought on board Neil Atkinson to head up the new enterprise.

Mr Atkinson has 23-years of experience in the industry and was previously a partner at Rhodes Wood Risk Services LLP.

“Neil brings a wealth of experience, drive and ambition to Johnston Park McAndrew,” said managing director David Johnston.

“With access to our extensive support services, claim handlers, accounts and IT infrastructure, we anticipate this associated company to be the first of many under a new Johnston Park McAndrew franchise concept.”

Mr Atkinson added: “Johnston Park McAndrew is a well respected name within commercial insurance broking.
