PROPERTY fund manager Highcross has sold a 2.6-acre business park plot to Wyre Forest District Council as part of the authority's £10.5m single site plan.

Work is expected to begin on the new site early next year which will consolidate the authority's four offices in Kidderminster and Stourport into one location.

The council's new home will be housed on Highcross' Finepoint business park, off the A451 south of Kidderminster, and a detailed planning application is due to be submitted this summer.
