E.ON boss Michael Woodhead has joined the board of the Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP).

Woodhead, managing director of E.ON’s sustainable energy business, is now one of eight private sector directors on the 16-strong board. He replaces E.ON colleague Derek Parkin on the board.

Denys Shortt, chair of the LEP, said that Woodhead’s expertise in the green economy would be vital for the organisation.
