Trinity results buoyed up by Manchester acquisition

BIRMINGHAM POST publisher Trinity Mirror has reaped the benefits of its acquisition of the Manchester Evening News and other titles, which contributed revenue of £18.2m and operating profits of £2.7m.The quoted newspaper group bought the MEN and 30 other titles belonging to GMG Regional Media in March for £7.4m and the cancellation of a £37.4m printing contract.Half-year figures from Trinity, which also owns the Daily Mirror, the People, the Birmingham Mail, the Coventry Telegraph and a string of 150 other ......for the full story register now for free or login below...
