EXCAVATOR manufacturer JCB is pumping £3.5m into recruiting more than 100 new young workers.The Staffordshire-based business is investing the money in a new ‘Young Talent’ programme that will see 103 young people join the firm from September, either as graduates, sponsored undergraduates or apprentices. The move comes as a set of 16-year-old triplets have recently embarked on new apprenticeships at the JCB Heavy Products factory in Uttoxeter. Jack, Katie and Liam Rowe are all training to be welders.
