Manufacturing SMEs buck trend for growth and jobs

MANUFACTURING SMEs in the West Midlands and North West are bucking sluggish growth forecasts with encouraging reports of increased sales and new jobs.Almost two-thirds (62%) of local respondents to the first ever Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS) National Barometer have seen turnover rise in the last six months, with 73% expecting further growth between now and the end of the year.The quarterly survey also revealed that 46% of companies are planning to take on staff in the coming year with another 44% expecting employee numbers ......for the full story register now for free or login below...
