WHATEVER happened to the Government’s infrastructure investment fund?

As you may recall, Chancellor George Osborne declared its support for infrastructural project funding back in November but since then nothing but tumbleweed.

Osborne provided precious little detail at the time and there was a feeling that it was something of sop to those who had complained that this Conservative-led Government is good at cuts but poor at growth initiatives.
