A CONSORTIUM comprising developer Kier and architect Calderpeel Partnership has secured a £50m PFI contract in the West Midlands.Keir and Altrincham-based Calderpeel Carden Croft, which together comprise Blue3, have been named preferred bidder to design, rebuild and maintain 11 fire stations throughout Staffordshire on behalf of the county’s Fire and Rescue Service.Blue3 and Vinci were shortlisted for the project in July 2011 after five organisations took part in the tendering process.Kier will begin construction in ear......for the full story register now for free or login below...
