AUTOMOTIVE and engineering consultancy Ricardo has been appointed as sub-contractor to complete final assembly of the latest tranche of 100 Foxhound vehicles for the Ministry of Defence.The contract has been awarded by General Dynamics Land Systems - Force Protection Europe and the order takes the total number of Foxhound vehicles contracted with Ricardo to 300.The Foxhound is a new light tactical 4x4 vehicle designed to operate in the urban environment where the infrastructure cannot take heavier, larger vehicles.
