CONSTRUCTION and renewable energy specialist Alumet has been awarded its third Green Apple award for environmental excellence in as many years.

Alumet director Dean Walton collected the award from inventor Trevor Baylis OBE at a gala ceremony in Canary Wharf in London. The Green Apple awards are held annually and reward companies which have excelled in their commitment to minimise the environmental impact of their operations.
