Permanent placements fall in Midlands ending four months of rises

THE number of permanent jobs in the Midlands fell in June, ending a four-month sequence of growth, latest figures suggest.The reduction in placements represented a marked turnaround from a sharp rise in May and the region was not alone as permanent appointments also declined across the UK as a whole – and at a faster pace than in the Midlands.
