Rolls-Royce wins £118m US Army helicopter contract

MIDLANDS power systems giant Rolls-Royce has won a contract valued at £118m to service M250 engines, which power the US Army's fleet of Kiowa Warrior scout helicopters.
The contract, to support M250 engines on more than 300 aircraft, lasts for a year, and the army has options to extend the contract for four additional years.
Rolls-Royce has supported the Kiowa Warrior fleet for 13 years, including placing field service representatives on more than 20 war zone deployments to support the army. The firm currently ......for the full story register now for free or login below...
