Birmingham-born biotech firm gets £22m in funding

A BIOTECHNOLOGY company that is partly a spin off from the University of Birmingham has secured £22m in equity financing.
PsiOxus Therapeutics, which was formed in 2010 through the combination of Myotec Therapeutics and University of Birmingham Spinout Hybrid Biosystems, secured the money in an equity finance round from investors Imperial Innovations Group, Invesco Perpetual, SR One and Lundbeckfond Ventures.
