BIRMINGHAM office workers are giving their bosses an extra 16 days of work a year by not taking a full lunch hour, new research has discovered.Colmore Business District (CBD) surveyed professionals working in the city about their lunching habits to coincide with this week’s CBD Food Festival, taking place in Victoria Square on Friday and Saturday.The survey found that nearly two thirds of respondents take 30 minutes or less for lunch, adding up to 120 hours over the course of the year.
