HENLEY developer Opus Land is to build the first Midlands-based facility for Storagebase Self Storage as the firm broadens its UK coverage.

A planning application has been submitted seeking approval for work to begin on the £5m,112,000 sq ft bespoke design and build warehouse, adjacent to Opus Blueprint at junction 9 of the M6 at Wednesbury. 

Work is due to begin in November, with completion scheduled for June 2013.
