All 4 One targets turnover hike after securing loan

A BROMSGROVE manufacturing company is expecting its turnover to rise to more than £3m after investing in new machinery following a £435,000 funding deal with asset-based lender Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance.

Established in 2004, All 4 One Engineering manufactures bespoke flashings, gutters and rain water systems for construction and roofing contractors to use on industrial buildings.

The firm currently employs around 30 people and following a move to larger premises two years ago, it has secured new contracts and increased turnover to £2m.

Now it plans further expansion after Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance, which provided the asset finance facility to enable the firm to purchase a Bystar laser cutting machine and a hydraulic press brake.

The loan facility was backed by the National Loan Guarantee Scheme, a two-year Government initiative that provides discounted funding to UK businesses that have annual turnover below £50m.

The sophisticated new machining equipment will enable more efficient manufacturing and further improve the quality and precision work carried out by the firm. It will allow the business to both fold and laser cut metal, meaning All 4 One will be able to engage with a much wider customer base.

Director Kim Williams said: “Demand for our high quality, expertly made products has increased so significantly that we have been able to more than triple our staffing levels over the past two years from nine to 32 employees.

“To target new business in the refrigeration and oil and gas sectors, we knew we needed to expand our offering.”

Keith Moore, regional manager for Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance, said: “It is fantastic to see a specialist and highly skilled engineering business expanding and looking to build further on its recent success. This new machinery will improve output levels and allow the business to operate in a much broader range of markets.”
