Loss of rail franchise hurts National Express

TRANSPORT group National Express has seen its profits dip as a result of one of its rail franchises coming to an end.
The Birmingham-based firm reported profit before tax was down £13.5m to £82.m for the six months ending June 30, reflecting the end of the East Anglia rail franchise.
Underlying group revenue up 3% to £808.9m compared to the corresponding period in 2011.
