THE childcare wing of the Co-operative has enlarged its portfolio with the acquisition of a series of Wolverhampton nurseries.The Childcare division has taken over responsibility for three City of Wolverhampton College nurseries: Metro One in Bilston Street, Paget Road and Wellington Road Nurseries. Between them the nurseries offer a total of 101 places and the deal has secured the jobs of 42 staff.The nurseries cater primarily for the children of staff and students but are also available to the wider community.
