A DECISION to dispose of its clearance stores and focus on high-end customers with more disposable income has helped to transform the fortunes of Birmingham furniture retailer Lee Longlands.Annual accounts published by the company, whose flagship store is in Broad Street, show the business has managed to convert a near £1.1m loss last year into a profit of almost £11,000.As part of a review, the company opted to dispose of its clearance outlets, such as the one at the Merry Hill Centre in Dudley, and focus on its core ......for the full story register now for free or login below...
