Southside BID takes steps to improve public safety

Architect Glenn Howells believes the Hippodrome can become to Hurst Street what the Royal Opera House is to London’s Covent Garden.
BUSINESSES in the Southside Business Improvement District have teamed up with West Midlands Police and Southside Leisure Watch to make their part of the city safer.Southside BID said the move was already paying dividends as recorded crime in the area is down on 2011 figures by 13.2% overall.
