COBBETTS, the Birmingham law firm, is offering 80% of its newly-qualified solicitors permanent roles this year, a 7% increase on 2011.

The retention rate is based on figures from across three regional offices. The firm has also created vacancies for 16 trainees this year at its regional offices in Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester.
