WOLVERHAMPTON support services and construction giant Carillion has warned shareholders that full-year revenue is likely to be lower than in 2011.

But it says it expects to deliver improvements in operating profit and total operating margin.

In a third quarter interim management statement, the firm said revenue is likely to be reduced primarily due to the planned re-scaling of its UK construction activities to align these activities with the shrinking UK market.
