DEAN Walton, sustainability director of West Midlands construction business the Alumet Group, has won a prestigious Institute of Directors honour.

He was named winner of the Corporate Responsibility category in the IoD’s national 2012 Director of the Year Awards.

Walton has worked in the construction industry for 35 years, the last 19 with Alumet whose headquarters is at Southam in Warwickshire.
