City suppliers to meet Green Deal winner Carillion

BIRMINGHAM-based suppliers are to meet the newly-appointed contractor for the city’s Green Deal programme later this month.
Wolverhampton-based Carillion Energy Services has pledged to improve delivery of the green agenda and create new jobs as securing a £600m agreement with Birmingham City Council.
It was named as the preferred bidder for the Birmingham Energy Savers (BES) scheme. This contract is considered a major milestone in establishing the Green Deal programme.
