Rolls-Royce lifts off with £1.6bn deal to supply Singapore Airlines

AERO engine manufacturer Rolls-Royce has secured a £1.62bn ($2.6bn) order to supply Singapore Airlines with Trent engines for 20 of its Airbus A350-900 and five Airbus A380 aircraft. The order includes long-term TotalCare service support. Nick Devall, Rolls-Royce Chief Commercial Officer - Civil Aerospace, said: "We are very pleased that Singapore Airlines has continued to select Trent engines.
