THE UK’s only pay-to-drive motorway, the M6 Toll, has seen a welcome pick up in traffic volumes.Midland Expressway Ltd, the company which operates the 27-mile route, said figures for the July to September period showed a 3.8% increase on the same quarter last year.For the most recent three-month period the average daily traffic flow through the toll stations was 39,237 (2011: 37,798).
