Unite demands assurances over the future of UK JLR plants

BRITAIN’S largest union is demanding an urgent meeting with senior Tata executives to seek assurances over the future of Jaguar Land Rover's UK plants.

The call from Unite follows the announcement that JLR has signed a letter of intent paving the way for an automotive partnership in Saudi Arabia. This follows the recent announcement of plans to expand JLR in other countries including China.
