Sweet success for Jaffabox

BIRMINGHAM-based cardboard box manufacturer Jaffabox has scooped the prestigious ‘SME Company of the Year Award’ at the ‘UK Packaging Awards 2012’.

Organised by industry title Packaging News, the awards were presented at the London Hilton on Park Lane, London.

Jaffabox was given the nod by a team of experienced judges hailing from companies and organisations including Asda, Kingfisher/B&Q, Marks & Spencer, Morrisons, Packaging Federation, Proctor & Gamble, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Unilever and Waitrose.

Packaging News said of Jaffabox: “A deserving winner in a hotly contested category, the judges were in awe of this compelling growth story.”

One judge said: “This is a focused business with clear investment integrity. It has a no-nonsense approach to the marketplace and is able to do this within a family culture.”
