Training firm takes city centre base to support growth

A BIRMINGHAM training company is expanding after securing new contracts. Intraining has taken on ten people and has moved to a new office in the city centre to accommodate growth.

The firm has won the backing of the Skills Funding Agency to deliver Skills Support for the Unemployed and for Redundancy.  It has also been appointed by the city council to deliver Foundation Learning in the area.

It has now taken a seven year lease from Redevco UK on 5,174 sq ft of office space at Warwick Chambers in Corporation Street.

Anita Brennan, Business Manager at Intraining in Birmingham, said: “The addition of an office in Birmingham city centre puts us in an excellent position to be able to offer our services to the local community.  We already have four offices in the surrounding area, but as our business has expanded in recent months, we felt there was a need for a city centre presence.

“Being close to New Street Station and other transport links, makes for easy access to Warwick Chambers, which is an important consideration for many of our customers and the offices lent themselves well to being branded in our own corporate style.”

Warwick Chambers is situated on the south side of Corporation Street, close to the junction with New Street and comprises four floors of offices.

Miriam Keane, of Redevco, said: “Intraining is one of a number of quality professional organisations at Warwick Chambers. It is great to provide a platform for success stories such as Intraining to grow their business and be well located without dramatically increasing their overheads.”

Vicki Burnett, of Jones Lang LaSalle, which acted on behalf of Redevco for the letting, added: “There’s only one floor now remaining at Warwick Chambers. This sector of the market, lettings between 1,000 and 5,000 sq ft has remained active, so as more office space is taken up we are urging potential occupiers to move quickly if they want to take advantage of the best offers available.”
