Big Cat takes pride in new appointments

FULL service agency Big Cat Group has made four new appointments to help it deliver on a series of new business wins.

New Account Manager, Hayley Boulton joins having worked for top brands such as Halfords, Cancer Research, and agency Cogent Elliott. She brings to Big Cat her International Practitioners in Advertising qualification at distinction level, as well as skills in both account relations and digital media.

Having previously been a teacher in the Midlands, Rukhsana Bentley first joined Big Cat Group as an Events intern. At the end of her internship she has been rewarded with the position as Client Services Executive.

Hannah Smith, a former Design Intern at the group has been appointed to the role of Junior Designer having recently graduated from the University of Reading with a degree in Graphic Communication, where she specialised in typography.

Finally, Anna Assinder has been appointed as Big Cat’s new Marketing Executive. She brings to the role skills in communications and digital marketing, as well as her Management degree from University of Nottingham and experience from working for companies such as Alliance Boots, WH Smiths, and Nottinghamshire Domestic Violence Forum.

Clarke Associates in tune with new clients

BIRMINGHAM-based communications consultancy Clarke Associates has landed two significant pieces of new business.

The firm has been appointed to handle public relations for Warwick Music Ltd, which produces the world’s first plastic trombone.

After working with the Kings Heath Business Improvement District (BID) to successfully secure another five-year term, the consultancy has been reappointed by the organisation to continue promoting the area.

David Clarke, managing director of Clarke Associates, said: “These are two very different clients, reaching very different audiences. Warwick Music Ltd are looking to us to drive the trade to take on the product as well as broader consumer awareness, where the Kings Heath BID need Clarke Associates’ unrivalled knowledge of the West Midlands region. The fact that they have chosen to renew their contract with us is down to tangible results and in-depth client understanding.”

BranchMartinSpicer set to act for legal firm

Richard Spicer, creative director at BranchMartinSpicer, with Rebecca Barry, operations director, eNLLEGAL recruitment consultancy, eNL Legal, has appointed BranchMartinSpicer as its retained marketing agency.

The appointment was secured after a competitive tender pitch process to deliver and implement a new energetic and vibrant communications strategy, firstly with a refresh of the eNL brand and identity.

Rebecca Barry, eNL’s operations director, said: “Our old brand had been in place for six years and we felt that it no longer truly reflected the dynamic culture of our business.

“We enjoyed the way BranchMartinSpicer involved the whole business in the branding process. They challenged us in our opinions and views and really helped to us to get a sense of clarity in what we wanted to achieve.”

BranchMartinSpicer will now work with eNL to roll out the new branding across all platforms including print and on-line advertising, newsletters, signage and website development.
