Birmingham advisors assist Canadian firm in key acquisition

ADVISORS in Birmingham have assisted a Canadian business complete an important UK-based acquisition.

Toronto-based North Plains Systems helps companies leverage their visual media assets. It has strengthened its global portfolio with the acquisition of London-based Vyre Ltd.

The BDO Transaction Services team, based in Birmingham, provided financial and tax due diligence for NPS during the transaction. BDO said the undisclosed deal was a further demonstration of its global capabilities.

Vyre is a leading provider of marketing resource management and brand asset management software.

The acquisition will enable NPS, part of the Accel-KKR portfolio of companies, and Vyre to optimise the creative marketing capabilities of their respective customers.
