Global Project Partners relocates to Birmingham

BIRMINGHAM has chalked up another inward investment win in the shape of Global Project Partners.

A recruitment firm specialising in the global energy and infrastructure sectors, it has relocated to Park Square on Birmingham Business Park from Wall Island.

The firm says it was seeking to find a more UK central location and better accessibility to both its employees and external clients and partners.

The company has found that as its national and international client base continues to grow rapidly, the need for a location close to travel links, including road, rail and air, is increasingly vital. The accessibility to Birmingham Airport and train station, as well as the M42, was one of the key reasons Birmingham Business Park was chosen.

Jennifer Evans, CEO of Global Project Partners, said: “2012 has been a fantastic year for our organisation. The move to Birmingham Business Park has been key to our long-term strategy for global expansion.

“Due to the appointment of a number of new board executives to our business we needed to be in a central location with great transport links. This also enables us to better serve and support our clients across the UK as well as internationally.

“I have flown to both South East Asia and Australasia over the last year, in addition to other regions across the world, and, for our business to successfully continue as a global-service provider, it’s imperative that we have premises in locations that reflect and enable us to achieve our goals.”

Cameron Thomson, senior surveyor at Deloitte Real Estate, who was instructed to find a tenant for the premises, along with joint agents GBR Phoenix Beard, said: “This marks another successful deal at Park Square .

“There has been a lot of positive investment along the M42 corridor and this has led to an increasing number of organisations moving to this location.

“This particular deal supports the fact that Birmingham’s infrastructure continues to be a strong lure for those companies, such as Global Project Partners, which have international operations.”
