Major entrepreneurs survey launched by Ernst & Young

ENTREPRENEURS from across the region are being invited to reveal key insights by completing a major new survey launched today by Ernst & Young.

TheBusinessDesk.com has teamed up with Ernst & Young to promote and celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit of the region and share insights into the opportunities and challenges entrepreneurs are facing.

The findings of the survey, which takes a maximum of two minutes to complete, will be shared with other entrepreneurs so that knowledge can be shared for the benefit of the economy.

Entrepreneurs are being called upon to give their view on topics including the entrepreneurial environment, national and overseas trade and innovation and change.

Respondents are also being asked to name the key attributes needed to be a successful entrepreneur.

Stuart Watson, partner and UK Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year leader (pictured), said: “I believe the best way out of the recession and key to the UK’s long term economic strength is business-led growth.

“Entrepreneurs create many of the UK’s most dynamic and successful companies. Sixty thousand jobs and £18bm of revenues, up 20% year on year, were created by the finalists in Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur Of The Year, last year.

“The survey will help us to gain insight into the minds of Midlands entrepreneurs, their views and what makes them tick.”

The survey is being run in conjunction with Ernst & Young’s highly successful Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.
