AirWatch takes more space at IM Properties scheme

MOBILE device management firm AirWatch has leased additional space at IM Properties’ refurbished Phoenix House.

The US firm has secured 5,561 sq ft of new space on the Milton Keynes building’s second floor on a five year lease, adding to its existing accommodation of over 20,500 sq ft on the third floor.

AirWatch, which manages its European and Middle Eastern operations from Milton Keynes, has seen rapid growth in the last 18 months, expanding its requirement at the building from an initial 12,490 sq ft letting in April 2012 with a further 8,155 sq ft taken four months later, and now this latest new space.

As well as securing this additional space, AirWatch has simultaneously re-geared its lease for the top floor for a further five years.

Phoenix House is located in Station Square, adjacent to Milton Keynes railway station.

Coleshill-based IM’s refurbishment has included new air conditioning, lighting, lifts, toilet and shower facilities, the reception area and a card access entry system.

AirWatch EMEA managing director Ian Evans said: “We have seen exceptional growth across all areas of the business over the last 18 months and IM Properties has provided us with the space to meet this expansion.

“As a landlord, IM Properties is responsive, quick to assist where possible and fully understand our needs.

Rob Hemus, asset manager at IM Properties, said: “AirWatch has been an exceedingly committed tenant at Phoenix House and we are delighted to provide them with the additional space necessary to meet their growth.”

Phoenix House is being jointly let by Louch Shacklock & Partners and Cushman & Wakefield.
