Sarah Falkland to present Masters Awards
POPULAR BBC News presenter and reporter Sarah Falkland is to co-present the West Midlands Business Masters Awards 2014.
The experienced journalist will join TheBusinessDesk.com Midlands editor Andy Coyne in presenting the awards at Edgbaston Stadium on the evening of June 18.
Coyne said: “We’re delighted that Sarah will be joining us as a presenter of the Masters Awards. She is a popular presenter and a respected journalist and is instantly recognisable to people locally from her work on programmes such as Midlands Today and the Politics Show.
“She will certainly add value to what is a likely to be a memorable occasion.”
This year there are twice as many awards in the Masters.

The key Manufacturer and Exporter categories are split into two to reward both SMEs and larger businesses and other new awards for 2014 are Apprentice Scheme, Employer of the Year, Listed Business and Fast Growth Business.
But the popular Pride, Innovator, Newcomer and Ambassador categories remain in place.
All entries will go in front of an eminent panel of judges in early May and the short lists, from which the winning entries will be announced on the night, will be made public soon after.
Entries need to be in by April 11.
The Masters’ USP that all the short-listed companies will be interviewed on the night remains intact.
