Call centre awards success for eg solutions

STAFFORDSHIRE-based back office optimisation software firm, eg solutions, has been voted as one of the top contact centre technologies in the 2014 Call Centre Helper ‘Top 10 Contact Centre Technology’ Awards.

The awards, run annually, recognise the best products on the market and are designed to help contact centre managers make informed decisions about the technologies they invest in.

Elizabeth Gooch, acting chief executive of eg solution, said: “eg operational intelligence® was the first purpose built back office workforce optimisation software product on the market. It was designed to solve real problems experienced by our customers and we have been constantly refining the solution over time to meet the strategic needs of our customers.

“However, this award is significant because it is a call centre award voted for by customers and users of the technology, and not just a panel of judges. Increasingly, our software is being used to manage customer contact in both the front and back office to reduce the end-to-end customer journey time of all customer contact. So it is good to be recognised by the whole of the contact centre, not just the back office.”

The firm has recently launched the latest version of the eg operational intelligence® software suite, which includes a number of platform and functionality enhancements. The firm is hoping this will enable it to continue winning new business.
