Employment agencies find new position at 21 Bennetts Hill

PRIME Time Recruitment and Sugarman Group have taken 3,800 sq ft of space at Hortons’ 21 Bennetts Hill building in central Birmingham.

The firms are both part of The Cordant Group, one of the largest privately owned employment agencies in the UK.

Moving from Phoenix House on Newhall Street, Prime Time Recruitment has been established in Birmingham for some 20 years and has 100 branches in 60 locations across the UK.

David Schloss, group property director said: “Our current lease was coming to an end and following a restructuring we needed more space.

“We looked at many places with the criteria of a good central location with the opportunity to grow and contract the business as necessary to react to market forces.

“Hortons offered flexible terms and took time to understand our business and take a long-term view.”

Prime Time is one of a number of new occupiers at 21 Bennetts Hill this year. They include People Line, SLC Rail and Voluntas.

Victoria Burnett from letting agent JLL said: “The new location for Prime Time Recruitment is ideal as it’s in a well-established area for recruitment companies and located within close proximity of the new station entrance.

“This provides the accessibility and presence Prime Time needs in the city.

“The relationship with the landlord was also important to them.  Hortons has a very strong reputation in the city because of its personal approach to business and ensuring it works hard to meet the requirements of its occupiers.”

JLL is joint letting agent with GBR Phoenix Beard.
