Birmingham financial district bar placed on the market

A CITY centre bar, situated in the heart of Birmingham’s financial district, has been placed on the market.

The British-themed Temple Street Social is being sold by property company Christie + Co, which is seeking £125,000 for the leasehold interest.

Refurbished two years ago, the bar switches from a dining venue by day to a trendy cocktail bar with DJ during the evening.

Christie + Co said bi-folding doors offered a continental café effect option, while a separate games room was regularly used for private business functions.

The firm has highlighted city centre transport links and easy access to New Street Station as key attractions for buyers.

Paul Reilly of Christie + Co’s Birmingham office is handling the sale.

He said: “Temple Street Social is a classic retro-style bar offering casual dining with great development potential for a chef proprietor to grow the business.”
