UK Staffing launches Stafford branch following contract win

RECRUITMENT firm UK Staffing has opened an office in Stafford following a new £200k contract win in the region.

The office is the company’s second UK base and has been supported with funding from NatWest and RBS Invoice Finance (RBSIF).

A total of four new jobs have also been created in the region as a result of the new contract win for the Devon-based recruiter.

UK Staffing recruits staff in a variety of industries including building and construction, retail and sales, hotel and catering, exhibition and leisure, commercial and domestic cleaning/housekeeping, administrative and office support and management.

Recent business growth has led the company to re-evaluate its existing banking facilities, opting to switch to a new banking partnership with NatWest and securing a funding deal with RBSIF.

As part of the deal, RBSIF has provided UK Staffing with a combination of factoring and bad debt protection facilities designed to support day to day cash flow and working capital whilst mitigating the impact of bad debts.

Jon Rye, owner and managing director at UK Staffing, said: “This is a really exciting time for UK Staffing, we have secured some excellent new contracts and the opening of our second branch is a really big step for the company.”

Martin Balman, business development manager at RBS Invoice Finance, said: “The recruitment industry has become increasingly competitive over recent years and cash flow can be a major issue for many agencies, particularly those dealing with temporary staff.

“Employees need to be paid weekly, but the debtor only pays the agency monthly.

“Invoice finance can help fill the gap with a factoring facility.”
