Bistro job delivered quickly by Deeley

COVENTRY contractor Deeley Construction has completed a contract worth nearly £500,000 at an enterprise park in the city.

Deeley has finished an extension to The Bistro at the Coventry University Techno Centre as well as carrying out a refurbishment on a first floor conference area.

The work, which has doubled the size of the bistro and created a new cooking and preparation area, began in May of this year and was completed in September.

Keith Bird, contracts manager for Deeley Construction, said: “We have a very good relationship with the university because of the work we have undertaken for them over recent years.

“Once again, we have delivered on time and on budget to improve what was already a great offering for the businesses at the Techno Centre.

“It’s great to be able to deliver this type of project in our home city and, on top of that, to be able to work in a live environment with no disruption to those businesses and individuals based here.”

Frank Mills, of Coventry University Enterprises, said: “The Bistro serves both the businesses here but also their guests. While it is primarily a place to get food and drink, I know that a great deal of business has been done there over the years.

“The extension doubles the size of the seating area but also allows the preparation of more fresh goods, while the first floor room gives us more to offer out conference guests.”
