Charles Church invests £18.5m in new Stratford housing scheme

PREMIUM housebuilder Charles Church South Midlands is investing more than £18m in a new development in Warwickshire.

The firm has acquired a 9.5 acre parcel of land in off Milestone Road, Stratford-upon-Avon with a view to building 85 aspirational new houses.

Planning approval for the new development was granted by Stratford-on-Avon District Council earlier this year.

The total investment value for the development, named Milestone Grange, will be £18.5m, which includes a special planning contribution from Charles Church of over £450,000 to enhance public open spaces, highways and local facilities.
 
Milestone Grange is located in a prime location, just five minutes away from the town centre. It will comprise a selection of two and three-bedroom semi- detached and four and five-bedroom detached houses.

Properties will be available to purchase off-plan from January 2015 with some expected to be ready to move into by May 2015.
