Law firm Anthony Collins celebrates record revenue

BIRMINGHAM law firm Anthony Collins Solicitors (ACS) has reported record annual turnover.

The firm’s financial results for 2013-14 show revenue growth of 7.2 %, achieving a £14.5m turnover for the first time in the firm’s 40 year history, up from £13.5m 2012-13.

Net profits increased to £3.3m in 2014, up from £2.3m in 2013, a 43% increase in profit.

ACS’s growth has been boosted by a programme of investment in staff and a new online communication system.

Senior partner Peter Hubbard said: “This has been a landmark year of growth for ACS and we are greatly encouraged by these results.

“During the past year we have continued to develop as a values-led, sector specialist firm with a national influence and a vocational approach to serving our clients.

“Our specialisation is key in order to provide our clients with a depth of great service which is delivered by committed and technically excellent people with a passion for transforming communities and people’s lives across the country.

“We certainly see challenges in the market including deregulation of the legal sector, the reduction to the legal aid budget and an increasingly competitive battle for talent.

“I am confident that our firm is very well placed to deal with change in the environment in which we operate and indeed flourish over the next few years.”
