Nine new associates in Irwin Mitchell’s Birmingham office

LAW firm Irwin Mitchell has promoted a record number of associates for the second year in a row.

The 32 newly promoted associates represent the firm’s business and personal legal services teams and include both solicitors and members of Irwin Mitchell’s business support function.

Nine of the new associates are based in Irwin Mitchell’s Birmingham office. Kelly Ferguson, Amandeep Samra, Cheryl Palmer-Hughes, Simon Prew and Kate Hewson are from the personal legal services team.

Banking & finance solicitor Natalie Barnes, and employment lawyers Kate Harris and Samantha Owen were also promoted, as was Victoria McNamee from risk and compliance.

Group chief executive Andrew Tucker said: “We have ambitious plans to grow as a group, but it’s our people who will enable us to achieve our objectives.

“It’s a key priority therefore for me and my executive teams to give everyone the support they need to enable them to do that to the best of their ability.”
