Wesleyan adds former KPMG partner to its board

INSURANCE company Wesleyan Assurance Society has added former KPMG partner Andrew Neden to its board of directors.

The Birmingham firm, which provides financial services for doctors, dentists, lawyers and teachers, says it had brought in Neden because of his extensive knowledge of the finance sector.

Neden has more than 30 years’ experience of working within the financial sector.  He was a partner at KPMG for 18 years until earlier this year.

He held a number of senior roles there including head of financial sector transaction services in the UK and latterly global chief operating officer for financial services.

Bryan Jackson, Wesleyan’s chairman, said: “Andrew is joining Wesleyan’s board at an exciting time as we lead the company through an ambitious growth programme.

“His experience in implementing KPMG’s growth strategy in its global financial services business will be invaluable to us, as will his deep knowledge of the finance sector.”

Neden said: “Coming from a family of doctors, I know that Wesleyan has a proud mutual heritage. I’m looking forward to playing my part in the next stage of its long history as we look to review the business to deliver an even better customer experience for our professional client base and to support our staff.”
