Plans for new landmark tower unveiled

THE new owners of Birmingham’s NatWest Tower have released details about their plans for the future of the prime city centre site.

Joint venture partners Sterling Property Ventures and Rockspring will replace the 1970s tower with a 211,000 sq ft steel, aluminum and glazed structure.

At 26 storeys and 336ft (102.5m) high it will be the tallest building in the central business district, similar in height to the existing structure.
